Reflecting His Heart?

My name is Jonathan Elicier and I founded the Non-Profit Reflecting His Heart. After I graduated from Newberry College in 2021, I started working in the Sports Industry. I instantly fell in love with it and enjoyed what I did. However, just a couple months later, God had other plans.

On August 25th, 2021, I took the leap of faith accept a position on the mission field to serve in Haiti and in the Dominican Republic. I made the most important choice of my life that day as I decided to choose God and His calling in my life over what the world expected from me or deemed successful. It wasn't easy to leave everything behind, but God was deserving of that and more. Little did I know what He had in store.

However, in this new position, I was given no salary. I was going to have to live off what God provided and what others donated from their hearts. My "payment" was serving God, and simply being a tool for what He had planned in these countries. As a result of this, Reflecting His Heart was created. 

 

The decision to name our Non-Profit Reflecting His Heart comes from the simple desire to love and serve others as Jesus did. We all fall short of God's grace, but I want to try and live everyday reflecting the heart that Jesus had for us when He died on the cross for our sins. Nothing in life is more rewarding than chasing after the Lord.

 

This Non-Profit is used as a platform to tell the world about what God is doing in these countries, and all over the world, through His servants who say Yes to being His hands and feet on this earth. With the commitment of our team and our ministry partners, we strive to accomplish our goal daily.
